Post-Secondary Work Ready Certificiation

At Ashland Community and Technical College, essential skills are much more than buzz words on a resume. The ACTC
Career Services Department, Northeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and the ACTC Advisory Committees share an understanding of what is needed to develop and launch a successful career.

The Post-Secondary Work Ready Certificate is a self-initiated program that incorporates career development resources,
professional networking activities, and opportunities for students to develop and gain measurable skills through services
offered by the ACTC Career Services Department. To close the gap between college and finding a career, participating students gain a competitive advantage in the job market.
